Who We Are:

Our Mission:

How Did 4 Paws at UIUC Start?

4 Paws for Ability at UIUC was founded in winter of 2017 by Lizzy Geary, and Animal Science major, after getting our first dogs on campus in the fall of 2017. We are so glad Lizzy brought and spread the mission of 4 Paws for Ability all the way to Champaign, Illinois from Xenia, Ohio. We thank Lizzy for laying the foundation to allow this organization to grow and spread and help more children and veterans receive their service dogs!

"I'm so glad I got to be involved with 4 Paws because I've been able to make great friends, meet amazing dogs, and meet numerous expiring people! I've also been able to learn a lot about disability culture and I'm glad I can play a small role in helping children obtain the service dogs they need." - Lizzy Geary
